An Operational Permit is required for exhibit and trade shows per sections 105.15 2024 International Fire Code as adopted by the City of Durango. Submit 45 days in advance of the event. You will be invoiced electronically following verification of a completed submittal. From there, you can pay electronically (processing fees apply) or drop a check payable to Durango Fire Protection District.

This application includes the following:

• 49+ occupants indoor
• 6 canopies or more; tents 700+ sq ft
• Barriers for alcohol consumption
• Food preparation/warming usinr LPG or generators
• Road closures

Allow 45 days for review after full submittal, including fees.

A minimum of 48-business hour notice is required for all inspections.
